Be the Composer Himself! (piano lesson with a Chopin piece)

Video

The video helps to find the most adequate approach and technique to express the musical meaning of the piece through  teaching the style, form and shape. The lesson covers the following topics: unison arms, hand position, pedal work, the right fingering, and the Polonaise rhythm. The teacher intention is to guide the student through the path to find the emotional climax along with the right dynamics and musical movements to the climax of the piece.
