Make Your Own Exercises
In the exercises above, the tuning of selected notes has been adjusted within the free notation software, MuseScore (free download available here). You can make your own exercises in the same way.
In MuseScore 4, once you have created a music score, open ‘Properties’. Then, on your score, click on the note head of the note you wish to adjust. In ‘Properties’, find the subsection ‘Playback Settings’, then ‘Notes’ and ‘Tuning’. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the tuning of the selected note.
In MuseScore 3, once you have created a music score, open the ‘Inspector’. Then, on your score, click on the note head of the note you wish to adjust. In the Inspector, find the subsection ‘Note’ and then ‘Tuning’. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the tuning of the selected note.
