In this lesson, students are carefully led into a more complex understanding of classical harmony. The piece of music selected for the lesson (W. A. Mozart: 6 Variations in F Major K. 54 (theme)) shows different uses of the so-called non-harmonic notes, such as suspensions and appoggiaturas within a simple progression of diatonic harmonies.
