Stage 1 focuses on such areas of musical skill development as the foundation of reliable music reading through the selection of pentatonic and diatonic musical excerpts, polyphonic singing, development of musical memory, basic knowledge of music theory, basic knowledge of harmony and form, as well as the development of musical creative skills related to the musical styles.
This stage is organically connected to the level of musicianship that can be obtained and expected after the completion of the first level of the programme. It includes a wide selection of Kodály’s exercises, a selection of art music examples much richer than at the first level and the areas of musical skill development is more diversed.
The third level of the training shows a great variety in terms of selection of material from a wide range of classical musical styles. The musical material of the previous levels is supplemented with modal musical examples partly through the use of early music material (medieval and Renaissance music) and a selection of folk music material along with intensive skill development.

The connecting pedagogy module focuses on how the participants can most effectively utilise the acquired knowledge and experiences in their own work as music educators.
The advanced level of the training programme is intended for those who wish to endeepen their previous musical studies in a direction that has the potential to enrich their current and future musical activities through the more refined musical hearing, fluent sight-singing and inner musical hearing in the context of both tonal and atonal musical repertory as well as high-level and practice-oriented knowledge of music theory, harmony and form. The diversity of the musical repertoire gives a secure orientation in the diverse and rich world of musical styles both old and modern.
